We will walk along the track to Buckley Park and explore the Moonah woodlands. For children and/or parents who are interested, you will have the opportunity to learn about the migratory wader birds and hear about the long journeys they take from the other side of the world. Bruce from Geelong Field Naturalists will help you identify some birds and you might like to try some observing and recording!
We operate bush kinder sessions and this will be our first session for 2014. Parents will be invited to attend and Parks Victoria will be in attendance (TBC). We operate our bush kinder sessions every 2 weeks, commencing in term 2. We spend three hours each session in the Grampians National Park. We began this program in 2013.
