Wattle Park Forest School – Bush Survival and Navigation

April 21, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Details: It’s time to get kids off the screens and into our forest school holiday program! Our Forest School teaches children essential bush survival and bushcraft skills through hands on learning and nature based activities that are fun, engaging and promote self esteem, confidence, build resilience and most importantly encourage them to move and strengthen their bodies and connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way.

We have children that leave our programs saying, it was the best day of their lives!  Each Forest School holiday program is different so no two will be alike. During this session the children will learn how to survive how to stay safe in the bush and navigate using maps and a compass. They will also go on a bush walk learning about the plants and wildlife, learn to track, play games, do plenty of climbing and best of all, make some awesome new friends!

The forest school workshop is led by Adam who is an experienced Forest School leader and Cath, a special needs teacher with over 40 years experience.
