Details: Being in nature makes us feel happier and healthier. The more that we stop, listen and observe the world around us – the more that we learn and connect to nature. In this session we will slow down and connect to nature through our senses. We will think about our place in the natural world and simply enjoy the textures, colours and smells around us through some fun sensory based games. Please note that there are NO TOILETS at Gresswell Forest The nearest toilets are at Watsonia Station Reserve. Please wear closed toe, non-slip footwear (no thongs or sandals). Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and clothing appropriate for the weather. All Junior Ranger activities are suitable for children age 6-12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response. Bookings are essential and open at 9am on 29/03/2023.
