Nature Treasure Hunt

April 8, 2016

Parks Victoria is hosting the biggest nature treasure hunt in Australia for Nature Play Week! Exploring outdoors is good fun, good for our health and easy to do. Head out on a nature treasure hunt in a park to discover colours, patterns and textures. Explore a new corner of your favourite park, or go somewhere completely new! Parks Victoria will be hosting a nature treasure hunt at:

  •  Grampians National Park, Halls Gap
  • Mckenzie’s Nature Conservation Reserve, Alexandra
  • Cobram Regional Park, Scotts Beach
  • Shepparton Regional Park, Stuart Reserve
  • Brimbank Park, Keilor
  • Westerfolds Park, Templestowe
  • Point Nepean National Park, Portsea
  • Jawbone Marine Sanctuary, Williamstown
  • Wilsons Promontory National Park, Tidal River
  • The Lakes National Park, Loch Sport

Register your interest to participate at www.juniorrangers.com.au If you’re not able to get to a host park, you can still be part of the fun. Download the activity from the Junior Ranger website and head out on a nature treasure in a park near you!
