Mega Bat Chat

Details: Australia’s largest bat, the Grey-headed flying-fox, has made a home at Yarra Bend. Find out about these fascinating creatures and watch them cool down, rest and interact with their neighbours as they roost among the trees. Please wear closed toe, non-slip footwear (no thongs or sandals). Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and clothing appropriate for the weather. All Junior Ranger activities are suitable for children age 6-12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response. Bookings are essential and open at 9am on 29/03/2023.
