Little Caves for Big Kids
April 27, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
One event on April 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm
Let your children test their climbing, crawling and balancing skills as they explore Big Rock and Meat Safe adventure caves and the creek and forest between them. We will use found natural materials to build our own cave shelters and race bark canoes down the creek. Children will need to wear clothes that can get dirty – preferably pants and long-sleeved tops to prevent bites and scratches – and closed shoes and bring a backpack containing a hat and a bottle of water. Please bring snacks for before and after the activity, as well as a change of clothes. Give your children the chance to explore the natural world and learn through play and discovery under qualified supervision whilst you go on a cave tour or enjoy the picnic area.
