Greener Wilder West at Western Sydney Parklands
April 13, 2023
One event on April 20, 2023 at 12:00 am
Details: Get your children outside, away from screens and exploring the wild and beautiful spaces of Lizard Log in Western Sydney Parklands these autumn holidays.
Shelter is the first priority of survival when in the bush. This season’s kids’ activities include making shelter, tarp craft games, knot, cordage and rope skills. The group will then have an opportunity to add decoration to their finished shelters and engage in imaginative play around their cubbies.
Our friendly and experienced team of Education Rangers will guide children to experience the outdoors in new ways; playing multi-sensory games, embodying animal movements, developing natural awareness, building habitats and creatively crafting with nature. Two hours of Nature Play fun kids are sure to love!
Please note this is a drop off program for children aged 5-12yrs, parents do not stay with children.
This program is being delivered by Centennial Park’s education team. Our expert educators have created a range of Nature Play programs for the sites of Greater Sydney Parklands.
