We’re Going on a Bug Hunt!
April 20, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
One event on April 27, 2018 at 10:30 am
With a magnifying glass and keen eyes, children will explore the wonderful world of bugs and creepy crawly critters at Yarrangobilly Caves. We will follow their trails and find out what they look like, where they live and how they hide from predators. All tools and equipment are supplied. Children will need to wear clothes that can get dirty – preferably pants and long-sleeved tops to prevent bites and scratches – and closed shoes and bring a backpack containing a hat and a bottle of water. Please bring snacks for before and after the activity, as well as a change of clothes. Give your children the chance to explore the natural world and learn through play and discovery under qualified supervision whilst you go on a cave tour or enjoy the picnic area.
