We are a family day care service, as such, have Educators in various locations across the country. As opposed to having one event united, we will have several events celebrated individually or in small groups in honour of nature play week. Celebrations will occur right across the event time frame.
Educators and families across the Early Childhood sector are invited to share their “Nature Tales”. These will be used to celebrate Nature Play in its various forms and to inspire others. Botanica offers families the opportunity to work together to build a unique village. Be part of our community of villagers as we build makeshift cubbies and structures using natural materials collected from the Gardens. Come along for an hour or bring a picnic and spend the day.
Nature Mandalas gather natures treasures to make a nature mandala on the ground. Remember to bring a camera or phone to take photos of your work! Seed Bombs: collect seeds from indigenous grasses create seed bombs. Nature Chimes: create your own nature hangings.
